The Banahene Brothers

Founders

FlyWaves Technologies (FlyWat™) was founded by Samuel Banahene and Clement Banahene — known as the Banahene Brothers. Together, they bring deep aerospace systems experience and hardware execution vision to build autonomy-first aerial technology.

FlyWaves Technologies founders

Samuel Banahene

CEO • Aerospace Engineer

Samuel is an Aerospace Engineer with 8+ years of experience across vibration, shock, and acoustics analysis spanning aeronautics, launch vehicles, and rocket engine programs. His work has centered on performance, reliability, and systems-level engineering discipline — the foundation required to build autonomous systems that must operate safely and repeatably.

  • Domain focus: vibration, shock & acoustics (VSA) analysis
  • Program environments: aeronautics, launch vehicles, rocket engines
  • Experience across major aerospace organizations (including The Aerospace Corporation, Northrop Grumman, and Blue Origin)
  • Leads FlyWaves strategy, execution, and product direction

Clement Banahene

CTO • Electrical Engineering

Clement is an aspiring Electrical Engineer currently working at Applied Materials, focused on building equipment that enables advanced semiconductor manufacturing for AI compute. His perspective supports FlyWaves’ hardware integration vision — from electrical systems thinking to practical engineering execution.

  • Current focus: semiconductor equipment supporting AI chip manufacturing
  • Strength: hardware integration mindset and engineering execution
  • Leads technical architecture and hardware integration direction
Our build philosophy

Autonomy is the product. We’re building a system designed to operate without remote control — where humans supervise missions, define constraints, and set objectives, while the aerial system executes within safety boundaries.
